Becky Guin, LMHC/LCMHC, is a mental health counselor who is currently licensed in Florida and New Hampshire and is pending licensure in Maine. She has been working in the mental health field since 2015 and has worked with clients in a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient and in the community. Becky has been trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Internal Family Systems (IFS), among others, and uses an integrated approach to help clients find an approach that works best for them. She received her Masters (MS) Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Springfield College and has a Bachelors (BS) Degree in Child and Family Development with an emphasis in Child Life. Becky specializes in working with clients with anxiety and interpersonal relationship issues. She uses her knowledge of family dynamics and attachment theory to help support clients in better understanding their own communication styles, as well as, how to better understand themselves and their loved ones. Becky works to create a safe, non-judgmental environment where people can be free to express their feelings and gain a greater understanding of themselves.
